Breath

The body breathes itself. With adding awareness, our breath can lead us to new insights and expansiveness. I am not trained in any specific sort of therapeutic breathwork but it is woven into coaching and soothing strategies, as it is a necessary component of yoga. This aspect of my work will grow over time. I will be bringing in colleagues and friends more educated than  myself in different types of breathwork.

Movement

Simply responding to our environment can leave us feeling out of control. Moving our bodies with intention and skill is a choice that can make the  difference between enduring pain and frustration or, alternatively, feeling pleasure and awareness.

Choosing to move with awareness allows us to connect to ourselves and feel grounded within the space that we are in. It takes practice but, with little bits each day, physical strength, comfort, and awareness can seep their way into our lives to help us feel more in touch with ourselves and those around us, physically and mentally. I use different aspects of movement in nearly all parts of my work. You can participate as much or as little as you choose or are able.

Body

I am a 200h RYT Vinyasa Teacher and teach at several Seattle studios as well as small classes from my yurt near Seward Park.

Incorporating Yoga asanas as part of expanded states, transitions, and wellness accelerates and enhances the ability to integrate our work while offering more opportunities for insight and perspectives to grow.

Yoga is deeply intertwined in my personal and professional work and is a necessity for staying the course.
